OUR

MINISTRIES

Here at Rivermont Baptist Church our desire is to make you feel truly a part of our Church family. When you get here at our Church you will be greeted by our greeters and/or ushers.  They will help you find the seat of your choice. They will be able to answer any questions you may have.  We provide a nursery for your convenience  and  for smaller children, if you choose to take advantage of it, we have a special service planned for just for them. You will be joining our congregation of friendly people, hear praise and worship music, and be blessed with a Christian message.  We sincerely want you to feel connected to our Church family and feel as welcome as possible.

We begin our service with a congregational call to worship. Then we have a congregational hymn, followed by our announcements to let you know what is happening here at Rivermont Baptist in the upcoming weeks. An offering is then taken (as a guest you are not asked or expected to give.  Follow your heart, you are our guest). This is followed by a choral worship song. Then our young children ages 3-8 are invited to join “Talk With the Kids” and are then let go to “Children’s Church”. Most every Sunday at this time we are blessed with special music. After this, our speaker will give the message for about 30 minutes. The message is designed to help us with our everyday lives through God's teachings and principles. We will then have an invitation song with the opportunity for the congregation to come to the alter and pray. Our alter is open to anyone who would like to come and pray or have someone pray with them. Just to let you know, we want you to be comfortable, so, come as you are.  God sees our heart, and that’s what he cares about, it’s not about the style of clothing we choose. Most people wear business-casual attire and you will also see a few suits, and ties, as well as people wearing jeans.
